This ethnic community has a unique fabric of historical and geographical spread, and as a result, an identity that has developed over centuries, influenced by various cultural, social, and ethno-religious factors, mixing elements from diverse areas. The specific nature of the Silk Road and the Central Asian connectedness to the world over time has shaped and been shaped by the Bukharian Jews, while they remain an under-researched population. This paper addresses this unique Jewish diaspora, its geographic spread across countries, and explores its cultural and identity elements. It introduces Bukharian Jews as a diaspora connecting contexts and illustrates key aspects of their culture and identity.
</abstract>
