The presence of the Sueves in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula during the 5th and 6th centuries left vestiges in the ethnology (such as the types of plow and grain shed) and in the onomastics (both place names and personal names) of the region. Archeological discoveries indicate features of Suevic culture and society, including the typical grain shed.
