Institutional policies have a significant impact on the practices developed in secondary schools. Based on this premise, this study presents the key aspects that Spanish regulations establish and set the guidelines that schools must implement at the curricular level. In the Spanish context, the central government establishes the basic curriculum, the guidelines that are then developed by the autonomous communities. For this reason, the article aims to make visible the presence of digitalisation in these guidelines, highlighting the references to the use of technologies that are made in them. Through a documentary and content analysis, the initiatives promoted by different public education administrations (Canary, Galicia, and Valencia) aimed at integrating technology in the classroom are identified, and the projects, digital platforms, and training initiatives related to technologies of these administrations are reviewed in detail and a comparative manner. This approach allows to consider different perspectives and offer proposals that optimize institutional policies in the digitalization of the secondary education curriculum.
