MENDEZ, Vicente Gabarda; FERNANDEZ, Isabel María Gallardo; GOMEZ, Sebastián Martín e MURIAS, Rebeca García. Teacher training and the development of digital learning materials: A cross-stage study. The technological training of teachers is one of the great challenges facing the education system today. Thus, various strategies have been developed in recent years aimed at favouring their digital competence, with the development of digital teaching materials being one of the basic elements of any initiative. In this way, it has been highlighted that teachers' skills in designing resources in different formats is one of the competences considered necessary for the effective development of teaching work. Taking this reality as a starting point, this paper aims to investigate the perceptions of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education teachers about digital resources, the use they make of them, whether they usually create them and whether they have received specific training in the design of these materials. For this purpose, a qualitative research methodology is used, developed through interviews with a total of 34 teachers from the Canary Islands, Galicia and the Valencian Community. The results highlight a positive assessment by teachers of the use of resources, a certain variety in their creation, as well as a limited capacity to use or create them efficiently. The need to develop lifelong learning strategies in order to respond to the educational challenges posed by today's society is thus emphasised.
