The present article seeks to develop a bibliometric study of the scientific production of the Portuguese scientific journal of Gender Studies Faces de Eva, from 1999 to 2015, explaining the journal's journey through a temporal, thematic, historical, authorial, collaborative, demographic and evolutionary overview. From relevant findings of the present bibliometric analysis we would highlight the wide range of themes and sub-themes addressed, the low international cooperation and inter-institutional collaboration among authors, despite its extensive geographical focus at national and international level, as well as the uneven distribution copyright gender (showing 70% higher incidence of female authors versus male authors).
