This article presents the adaptation and validation process of the Academic Satisfaction Questionnaire (ASQ), developed for Portuguese and Brazilian higher education students, for Portuguese students in the 3rd cycle of basic education (QSA-EB version) and high school students (QSA-ES version). The adaptation was authorized by the authors of the original version and made by the two authors of the article. The validation process consisted of determining the psychometric qualities of these two new versions of the questionnaire, through statistical indicators of item Sensitivity, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and reliability of each factor that emerged after carrying out the EFA. The results were all positive for the sensitivity of the items, the EFA revealed the theoretical dimensions of the construct and the reliability indices of each factor, determined through Cronbach's Alpha, which can be considered quite reliable and reliable.
