Abstract

BERNARDI, Giliane  and  CORDENONSI, Andre Zanki. Literary Activities with Coffee: A Non-Digital Game to Support Learning Activity Modeling According to UML. RISTI [online]. 2024, n.56, pp.35-49.  Epub Dec 31, 2024. ISSN 1646-9895.  https://doi.org/10.17013/risti.56.35-49.

This paper presents the development and evaluation of a non-digital game aimed at supporting the learning of Activity Diagram according to UML, a language widely used for software modeling. The game was developed following the ENgAGED process and was evaluated with students from a Software Engineering course using the MEEGA+ model. In the evaluation, the students reported that the game achieved its objectives in a very positive manner regarding the quality criteria of Usability and Player Experience, and they believed they were learning from the game. Future work includes adapting the game, as it was designed to be replicable for other scenarios and educational contexts.
