Objective:

To identify the requirements for prototyping the web app "Psychosocial rehabilitation project app" web application.

Method:

An exploratory, descriptive study with a qualitative approach, in which eight mental health professionals from a Psychosocial Care Center in the interior of São Paulo/SP were interviewed, using the focus group technique. The content of the interviews was transcribed using Transkriptor software and analyzed according to thematic analysis, with the aid of Atlas Ti software.

Results:

The mental health professionals understood the importance of the psychosocial rehabilitation project as an instrument for organizing mental health care. Furthermore, they realized that the construction of an application can facilitate the development of psychosocial rehabilitation projects through the incorporation of technological resources. On the other hand, the application was also seen as a potential tool for the surveillance of the psychiatric patient, and with a risk of increasing the work overload of mental health professionals.

Conclusion:

The focus group made it possible to capture the requirements for prototyping the web app "Psychosocial rehabilitation project app" allowing technology to be brought closer to mental health professionals, so that it is possible to facilitate the construction and management of the psychosocial rehabilitation project.
