The article analyzes the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union as one of the three vectors of the system of protection of fundamental rights, as set out in the Treaties and resulting from Article 6 of the Treaty on European Union resulting from the Treaty of Lisbon in the context of the evolution of its case-law. protection. In particular, it analyzes its scope, the horizontal effectiveness of its provisions, the terms of the applicability of the social rights recognized in the Charter. It also discusses the accession of the European Union to the European Convention on Human Rights and Opinion No 2/13 of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
