Comunicações Geológicas is the official journal of LNEG – Portuguese Laboratory for Energy and Geology. The journal, published since 1883, is an annual publication that seeks high-quality, original research articles, focusing on geology, the entire range of geosciences and geoarcheology. In addition, the executive committee particularly welcomes works that research on geological issues, orientated for societal problems, namely Environmental and Applied Geosciences as well as subjects related to Geo-energy and Geo-resources.
