General Information:
Authors should submit their articles according
to the below stated rules. Each article will be evaluated by one member
of the Editorial Board and two anonymous reviewers. Publication can be
denied. Names and affiliation of non-anonymous reviewers can be included
in the acknowledgments section of the article if the authors and reviewers
agree.
Articles cannot be submitted to another publication.
Copyright of the articles are owned by LNEG.
Total or partial reproduction of the article, even if translated to another
language is prohibited unless the Executive Committee of the journal gives
written permission.
Manuscript instructions:
1 ‑ Articles and abstracts may
be written in Portuguese, French, Spanish or English. However, an additional
abstract in English and Portuguese is always required.
2 – The manuscript should be submitted
by e-mail to edi@ineti.pt and by mail
to the Executive Committee of the journal. The text should be typed double
space on single‑sided, A4‑sized
paper. Manuscripts should bear the name, address, telephone or tax and
e‑mail of the author to whom the correspondence should be sent.
The front page should display the full title of the paper with its English
translation and the first name, middle initial (if applicable) and last
name of each author, as well as a footnote with the author's address or
workplace.

3 – Abstract -
In the original language of the article with no more than 150 words. Key‑words: In the original language
and no more than 9 words.
4 ‑ Abstract
in English - All articles written in one of the three
languages other than English must include an extended abstract in English
of no more than 400 words.
Key‑words: In English with no
more than 9 words.
5 ‑ Tables, graphics and illustrations - Tables, graphics and illustrations
must be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals and printed on separate
sheets with captions in the original language and in English, describing
briefly its content. Captions should be clearly located in the text. Illustrations
and photographs should be sent in film or in CD.
6 – References
- Bibliographical references in the text should refer solely
to the author's last name in capital letters followed by the date of publication,
all in brackets.
7 – Bibliography
- At the end of the text, the bibliography
should be written in alphabetical order by authors' last name. References
to books should mention the name of the author(s) followed by the year
of publication in brackets, the title in italics, place of publication,
publisher and page numbers. References to articles should contain the
author's name and date in brackets followed by the title, the name of
the periodical in italics, publisher, place of publication, volume in
bold print, and page numbers.
8 – Reprints -
twenty free reprints will be provided for each paper. Additional
reprints may be supplied, provided the author pays for mailing expenses
and makes his/her request to the Editor at the time the galley proofs
are returned.
