Objetivos y alcance

PsychTech & Health (ISSN 2184-1004) es una publicación científica semestral que tiene como objetivo contribuir al desarrollo y difusión del conocimiento científico de carácter teórico y empírico en las áreas de psicología y tecnología y cómo estos pueden relacionarse con la profundización del conocimiento. sobre el desarrollo humano y la salud, favoreciendo la investigación que se presenta con un carácter interdisciplinario. PsychTech & Health adopta los principios normativos que rigen la promoción de políticas de acceso abierto a todo el contenido publicado de forma gratuita. Su ambición es ser un foro abierto a investigadores de renombre, así como a aquellos que se inicien ya sea en la investigación o en la difusión del conocimiento en forma de artículo u otro formato que implemente PsychTech & Health. Cuando quieras ser un precursor de quienes inician PsychTech & Health tomarás una postura pedagógica en la interacción que se establecerá entre quienes eligen la revista para dar a conocer su trabajo.

PsychTech & Health publicará artículos originales de revisión u otros que se presenten como aportes relevantes para la discusión y profundización del conocimiento científico. Sin embargo, esta apertura no exime, por el contrario, que los trabajos presentados y aceptados para publicación están resquebrajados por el rigor metodológico y pueden contribuir al desarrollo de áreas científicas o promover el debate internacional en torno a las temáticas desarrolladas en el trabajo. Los manuscritos presentados deben contener datos originales, teóricos o experimentales que aún no hayan sido publicados (parciales o completos) o que actualmente no se encuentren en proceso de evaluación editorial por parte de otra revista. Los manuscritos pueden enviarse en portugués, inglés y español. Los artículos escritos en portugués deben respetar plenamente la concordancia ortográfica del idioma portugués (estándar europeo). Todos los artículos presentados serán sometidos a una evaluación lingüística previa con el fin de valorar su calidad lingüística.

PsychTech & Health se suscribe a los estándares de citas de la Asociación Estadounidense de Psicología (APA, sexta edición), así como a los requisitos del Comité Internacional de Editores de Revistas Médicas (ICMJE) para la presentación de artículos científicos y estar sujetos a un sistema de revisión por pares.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

• The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.

• Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

• The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

• The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

• When submitting the cover letter to the editor, authors should suggest 2 reviewers

Author Guidelines

Articles should be submitted electronically via the OJS (Open Journal Systems) platform of thePsychTech-Journal, accessible from https://www.psychtech-journal.com. New users should register in advance.

Once the author is registered in the PsychTech & Health OJS platform they must provide the requested data and submit the manuscript, which involves 5 steps:

1. After selecting the Online Submissions link, it is necessary to indicate the article type/section, select the main language of the manuscript and accept the general conditions of submission. Authors may also make some optional comments to editors, such as indicating the scientific area of the article submitted.

2. In the second step, the final version of the manuscript should be submitted, according to the norms of the journal. This file should not contain any identifiers of the authors in the body of the text or in the properties of the document.

3. After transferring the manuscript to the system, the complete contact information of all authors (name, surname, institution, address, e-mail address) should be included. It will also be requested to appoint an author who performs the duties of the corresponding author, who will be solely responsible for establishing contacts with the editors and keep informed the other co-authors of all decisions and modifications relating to the manuscript. The submission of the title, abstract (up to 250 words) and keywords of the main language of submission will also be performed in this step. Preferably, they should use the descriptors in the health area.

4. The fourth step, which is optional, allows the transfer of supplementary documents that the authors consider as an added value for the evaluation/revision of the manuscript. The submission of the letter of submission and its mandatory attachments, indicated below, should not be carried out at this time.

5. In the fifth step, the corresponding author must confirm the correct submission and record the respective reference (ID) assigned to the manuscript. This reference should be used in all subsequent contacts with the editors concerning the manuscript submitted.

After confirming the correct submission of the manuscript, the corresponding author should send an email to jm@psychtech-journal.com, being careful to include in the "subject" box the article code assigned by the OJS system to the manuscript submitted. Authors should be careful to send the following documents to the Editor: (1) letter of submission and presentation of the theme and authors; (2) statement on the contribution of each of the authors to the work; (3) declaration of assignment of copyright; (4) statement of possible conflicts of interest; and (5) a statement of ethical conduct / favorable opinion from the ethics committee or scientific committee that oversees the conduct of research in its institutions.
