Form and preparation of manuscripts

Each article submitted to the Journal is initially analyzed by a member of the Editorial Committee regarding compliance with the rules established in the Instructions to Authors, and is returned for adequacy, in case of non-compliance with the rules. If approved at this stage, the article is forwarded to the Chief Editor or Senior Editor who, with the collaboration of the Editorial Committee, will begin to evaluate the content from the scientific point of view and the contribution to the development of Nursing science. The article is then forwarded to two reviewers, who analyze it based on the Analysis and Opinion Instrument developed specifically for this purpose and give their opinion on the methodological rigor of the approach used. If there is disagreement in the opinions, the article is sent to a third reviewer.

Anonymity is guaranteed throughout the trial process. The opinions of the rapporteurs are analyzed by the Editorial Committee, which, if necessary, indicates the changes to be made. The works are for publication only after the final approval of the Editor-in-Chief and Senior Editor.
