Abstract

NARANJO FERRARI, José. Countercultural religiosity in Ocaña´s work: A reinterpretation of religion through homosexuality in the Spanish transition. Estúdio [online]. 2014, vol.5, n.10, pp.127-133. ISSN 1647-6158.

Religion is an essential element in the life and work of Ocaña. This article analyzes the impact of popular religion in his formation as artist and then, the conceptual and plastic reinterpretation which is developed in his work from homosexuality. We argue that unheard union of religion- homosexuality which resulted one of the most counterculture and subversive artist productions from the transition period.
