Starting out from the idea that the history embodied in a building's architecture reveals not only that which has already been recounted, but unusual aspects of the group involved in its construction, this article examines the establishment and development of the Pentecostal Assembly of God church in Brazil, based on some of its temples and cathedrals, and it highlights the similarities between the churches and social housing in Brazil.
