^lpt^aO artigo analisa a ação performática de Flávio de Carvalho, figura polivalente do modernismo brasileiro, a Experiência nº 2, em que caminha coberto com um boné verde em sentido contrário a uma procissão de Corpus Christi, no centro da cidade de São Paulo, em 1931. Aproxima a narrativa do fato pelo próprio autor a textos teóricos de sua autoria dedicados à análise de Deus e da religião e de uma peça teatral para tentar inferir possíveis nexos esclarecedores entre prática e teoria.^len^aThe article examines the performative action of Flávio de Carvalho, polyvalent figure of Brazilian modernism, Experiment # 2, in which he walks covered with a green cap against the grain of a Corpus Christi procession in the center of the city of Sao Paulo, in 1931. Approaches the narrative of the event by the author to his own theoretical texts devoted to the analysis of God and religion and to a play to try to infer possible illuminating links between practice and theory.
