BALSALOBRE, Sabrina Rodrigues Garcia. Expressões de poder e de solidariedade em Moçambique e em Angola: observando a inter-relação entre gênero e formas de tratamento. []. , 32, pp.53-78.   28--2021. ISSN 2182-4452.  https://doi.org/10.31492/2184-2043.rilp2017.32/pp.55-80.

Considering that the Portuguese language is common to Mozambique and Angola, it is necessary to understand that it plays different symbolic roles to each of the national realities. Therefore, it is based on the fundamental assumption that there is a direct interrelationship between linguistic and social studies. More specifically, the intention is to observe how Mozambican and Angolan women and men relate and express their perceptions of the world through language, more specifically, through the addressing forms system, both nominal and pronominal. Thus, the focus is on gender as a determinant of language choices. In order to achieve this research, the complementarity between sociolinguistics and pragmatics - in short, sociopragmatics - was taken as the theoretical pillar. In addition, more specifically, the focus is on observing the semantic ideals of power and solidarity (Brown and Gilman, 1960/1972), as social forces clearly expressed through linguistic choices.
