Abstract

WARROT, Catarina Vaz. António Lobo Antunes' não entres tão depressa nessa noite escura: from novel writing to musical score. Diacrítica [online]. 2015, vol.29, n.3, pp.80-96. ISSN 0807-8967.

The novel Não Entres Tão Depressa Nessa Noite Escura (2000) written by António Lobo Antunes, shows a certain hybridity in its composition: it is classified as a poem despite its dense text of 500 pages being created by means of a multiplicity of narrative voices, perceptions and thoughts which intertwine, repeat and mix. The author explained that he had tried a new kind of novel architecture, using other means to create the text. Our aim is to explore what are these means that might have come into play in this attempt to find another way of writing.

Keywords : António Lobo Antunes; discourse analysis; music and literature.
