In this article we aim to study the concept of absence in the Marguerite Dura’s writing focusing mainly on Le Ravissement de Lol V. Stein and L’Amante anglaise. We will examine women characters (un)determined by love and crime with the purpose of analysing the conditions of the feminine subject in Duras’ works.
