Abstract

GOMES, Luíza Oliveira; RODRIGUES, Djamilly Rhuany  and  PFRIMER, Matheus Hoffmann. Militias and International Relations. Socio-epistemic review and balance in a time of violence’s transnationalization. Relações Internacionais [online]. 2021, n.69, pp.143-161.  Epub Mar 31, 2021. ISSN 1645-9199.  https://doi.org/10.23906/ri2021.69a09.

Studies on militias are still scarce in the Brazilian Political Science (PS) and International Relations (IR) field. Whereas foreign IR and PS researchers have significantly studied this theme. With a view to understanding this fact, we performed a meta-analysis of militia publications in Latin American PS and IR scientific journals. The goal was to check the state of art, approaches and concepts in the field.

Keywords : meta-analysis; militias; International Relations; Political Science.
