The study aimed to validate a student’s perception scale of the Physical Education teaching objectives. The study was conducted with 212 students from public and private schools of high school in seven cities in the interior of Ceará. It was used as data collection instrument was a questionnaire adapted with items in agreement level scale. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, comparison groups, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Cronbach's Alpha and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). They were obtained the factors 1) Physical Activity and Health and 2) Human Development, in which the items that compose these factors presented to be able to use both for students from public and private schools and to students of male and female. The scale validation was obtained adequate levels of KMO, explained variance, Cronbach's alpha and indexes of the AFC. We believe that the instrument proved to be valid to analyze the students' expectations about the curricular component Physical Education.
