GOUTILLE, Fabienne et al. The use of precision technologies: resources and constraints in agricultural work. []. , 19, 1, e20356.   01--2023. ISSN 1646-5237.  https://doi.org/10.4000/laboreal.20356.

In the processes of designing and introducing precision technologies in agriculture, there is a disproportion between the expected productivity issues and the attention paid to their uses and to the effects on the health of farmers. It is this dynamic that ergonomics tries to restore by analyzing work activity. In this article, we mobilize ergonomics to question precision agriculture, the resources it offers to farmers as well as the constraints it generates in real work. Finally, we propose to develop the analysis of the activity at different scales to support farmers in the choices that are imposed on them and to think differently about the design and development of these new technologies.
