Abstract
FERREIRA, Pedro Daniel da Costa. The threshold and actant tension in the work of Hugo Paquete. Estúdio [online]. 2019, vol.10, n.27, pp.41-48. Epub Sep 30, 2019. ISSN 1647-6158.
This article presents an analysis of the work "Zoe: Actant" (2017) by Hugo Paquete. I contextualize his work as post-digital practice. With the use of hybrid technology, the work com-bines phenomena intangible to human percep-tion, rendering them perceptible through an autonomous system and technological mediations. The work explores acousmatic sonorities by the interweaving human and non-human actants. Paquete thereby presents us with other ways to listen, see and think about the Real as breaks, tension space, and glitch aesthetics.
