Resumen
FERNANDEZ, Ana Esther Santamaría y CANESTRO, Sheila Rodríguez. What remains to be seen: silence, delay and resignation in the work of Javier Garcerá (2008-2018). Estúdio [online]. 2019, vol.10, n.28, pp.158-165. Epub 31-Dic-2019. ISSN 1647-6158.
Javier Garcerá (1967) is one of the current Spanish artists who has shown the greatest coherence throughout his artistic career. His work does not follow the dictates of fashion and moves away from conceptualization. The work that he has produced in the last ten years affects this direction and moves away from the spoken discourse to focus on what can not be said through paintings of a tremendous visual power before which the viewer becomes aware of all that to which it is impossible to access, even through one's visión.
Palabras clave : Javier Garcerá; vision; word; resignation; silence; delay.
