This article aims to analyze the functionalities and perspectives of the Electronic System of Unified Execution (SEEU, in portuguese), defined as the standard system of Penal Execution in Brazil by the National Council of Justice and in the process of being installed in all courts in the country. For this, the present work will use the hypothetico-deductive method, from which the effects of the the Electronic System of Unified Execution in the Brazilian reality will be verified from the present and future functionalities of the system and their consequences. In addition, to achieve the purposes of the present work, a qualitative and descriptive research will be carried out, using mostly documentary research means, corresponding to the resolutions, laws and reports that support the experience of implementing the the Electronic System of Unified Execution. It is concluded that the treated system constitutes a new phase of the Brazilian Penal Execution, with greater presence of the State within the chaotic national prison system and with the assurance of rights based on technological innovations, with growing perspectives in relation to these.
