Abstract

CUBERO, Javier et al. Design of a Qualitative analysis of University Competencies by webQDA for the formation of the Nursing Degree. NTQR [online]. 2022, vol.12, e724.  Epub Aug 25, 2022. ISSN 2184-7770.  https://doi.org/10.36367/ntqr.12.2022.e724.

Introduction; Higher education under the current framework of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) has proved to be a revulsive for all university teaching. This current learning system, already well established in our universities, has as its main hallmark the teaching and assessment of competences. Thus, in particular in the Bachelor's Degrees in Nursing, these competences; general, specific and transversal, must address learning about knowledge and skills on the following four functions: health care, research, management and teaching. Objectives: To analyse the competences of the UEx Nursing Degree, in order to know the learning achieved, in Health Education, by students and graduates and therefore the level of competences acquired. Methods: Type of observational design and qualitative analysis using webQDA® online software. The objective is to carry out an innovative proposal for a qualitative analysis of the competences included in all the subjects of the Degree in Nursing (UEx). For this purpose, all the Teaching Programs 12a of the four courses of the UEx Degree in Nursing of the current academic year 2021/22 were used. And previously, after expert selection of all the competences, only those exclusive to training in Health Education were selected, these competences were then coded and referenced within each teaching card using the online software webQDA®. Results and Conclusions. It can be concluded on the basis of the above and specializing bibliography with similar analysis of competences that the proposed methodology is viable.
